Faithful Wounds

"Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful."
- Proverbs 27:6 KJV.

A true friend speaks the truth, even if the truth wounds. An enemy speaks lies to tickle the ears, speaking smooth things. A true friend warns, an enemy remains silent in the face of troubles. The kiss of deception is the betraying kiss of a Judas whose heart is not sincerely with you. The faithful wounds of a friend reveal a true heart that sincerely loves. A faithful friend is genuine. An enemy is full of false pretence. A true friend tends to life. An enemy, pretending to be a lover, is in truth a destroyer. There is a Spirit of truth, and there is a spirit of error. The Spirit of truth reproves the world of sin. The spirit of error will bear no reproof, and rejects the truth. True love WARNS. False love, under the guise of being true, in the face of danger, leaves the heart in silence. The wounds of a friend are FAITHFUL. The kisses of an enemy are DECEITFUL.
