The Way To Hell

Hell is a literal place. Believe it or not. Like it or not. Men may raise their voices in protest. Voices may scoff. Voices may speak words of disbelief. Many say that there is no hell, it's just a fable or scare tactic. Men may try to convince with vain and high-sounding words that hell is not for real. Are we ready to gamble away our soul with vain words? Let no man deceive you with vain words! Hell is a real, literal place. The way to hell is broad and the way to hell is wide. Many travel the way to hell. The highway to hell is a party with music and dancing, eating and drinking, and being merry, and going about daily life and feeling no remorse for sin and partaking of evil. All the media world is a stage of delusion with it's lights, cameras, and action. The Pied Piper plays his song for man and draws their soul to the depths of hell. Man plugs in to this constant stream as if it's his lifeline. Ironically, it's a death-line. Like a strange, adulterous woman...she lures and entices men to come near to her house, to join her in sin and evil pleasures. She entertains, she beguiles, she deceives, yet remember, she is unfaithful. The word of God warns...

"Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth.
Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths.
For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.
Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death." - Proverbs 7:24-27 KJV.

Hearken to the word of the living God. The strange woman has a house, many houses, that lead to hell and to death. Funhouses, playhouses, movie houses, music houses, party houses, pleasure houses, and religious houses. Yeah, even houses in the name of God and Christ! She is a MYSTERY.

"For the lips of a strange woman drop as an honeycomb, and her mouth is smoother than oil: But her end is bitter as wormwood, sharp as a twoedged sword. Her feet go down to death; her steps take hold on hell. Lest thou shouldest ponder the path of life, her ways are moveable, that thou canst not know them." - Proverbs 5: 3-6 KJV.

Her mouth is filled with sweet words and temptations, her ways are MOVEABLE and strange, man cannot know them. Many have fallen prey to her. To the depths of death and hell they have gone! There are many souls in hell at this very moment. It's for real. They weep. They gnash their teeth. They cry out in torment. They thirst. They are in utter darkness. They long to send someone to warn their loved ones of the horrible place called hell. They have gone down to the chambers of death and hell never to see life or loved one again. They lost their living soul forever. They enjoyed sin and pleasure for a season and reaped the due wages they had sown. They refused to heed the word of God. They did not fear God nor did they depart from evil. They did not repent and believe the Gospel. They turned away from Christ Jesus the Lord the only SAVIOUR. Oh, many were deeply religious and professed to know God, calling Him "Lord, Lord". They trusted in their own good works. They could not discern that the funhouse they were in, or the "house of God" they were in was, in truth, the house of the unfaithful strange woman, the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.

"Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."  - Matthew 7:21-23 KJV.

A lot of professing religious folk who say "Lord, Lord" will not enter heaven, but will hear the Lord say "Depart from me". Depart to where? "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:"  - Matthew 25:41 KJV. Depart to everlasting fire, the fire of hell, and the everlasting lake of fire. Not total destruction, not annihilation, but everlasting fire.EVERLASTING is eternal, eternal is forever and ever. No end. No escape. Ever! The torments of hell await even a lot of folks who profess to be Christians who may be deeply religious, but are deeply lost in sin. The torments of hell also await many a soul that make light of hell and laugh it off as a fable. Those in hell are not laughing anymore! Some never believed in a literal place called hell. It matters not whether they believed in a literal hell or not, they surely believe now. Hell was READY to meet them at their last breath. Hell is READY even now to meet the unsaved, unrepentant sinner at their last breath. Life is short. Death is a grim reality. Many live as if there really is no hell, no judgement of God with eternal consequences. Do not trust the words of men. Why grope around in the dark with mere words of men? Believe the word of God. Fear God, and repent. Depart from evil. The house is on fire, the alarm is sounding, this is no time to trifle with your own souls. Awaken!

The Lord Jesus speaking of the rich man and the beggar man, Lazarus..."And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame." - Luke 16:21-24 KJV. (Read Luke 16:19-31 KJV for the whole context).

The grave is not the end! IN HELL. The Lord Jesus does not mince His words. This is no fairytale. This is no fable. IN HELL the rich man lifted up his eyes. He could see. He could move and was still conscious and aware. He was in torments. He had the full experience of being in hell. He cried out, so he could speak in hell. He could cry out. He thirsts, so his senses are fully functional in hell. His tongue needs to be cooled, so he was literally feeling the heat. No coolant ever came or ever will come. He is tormented in flames, leaving no doubt this is the fires of hell Jesus warns about. The rich man still has his full being. He has his memories. He remembers his family! He does not want them to come to hell with him!(Luke 16:27-28). He has not ceased to exist after his death, and is in hell this very hour. His fate is permanently fixed. There is no escape. This is no parable that Jesus spoke. Hell is a literal place as much as heaven is a real, literal place. I will take God's word for it. Why would Christ Jesus the Lord come to save sinners, and die for our sins on the cross according to the Scriptures, and be buried, and rise again the third day according to the Scriptures, if hell is not a real place?  We had best repent and believe the Gospel according to the Scriptures and run away from men who want to wrangle with the living God with their vain, empty words. It's foolishness. If we neglect so great a salvation, how shall we escape damnation? If one does not believe in a literal hell, and dies in their sins, rejecting the Son whom God hath sent, they will soon be a believer in a literal hell. IN HELL Jesus says. This is no joke. This is a very strong warning, I love your soul, and warn as a faithful friend would warn. I care not if I offend you with the truth. I point you to the word of God, to the SAVIOUR. Death is a great reality. I have heard the heart-wrenching death cry of a man burning alive in a car after a bad wreck. No one could get him out of his mangled car. No one could put out the raging flames. His cry was piercing and haunting. No one could save the man. There was no way of escape. The man burned to death in the fiery flames. His death cries were real! A very grim reality. Hell is far worse. I cannot imagine the cries that come from hell. Torments. Weeping. Gnashing of teeth. Outer darkness. Flames. An unspeakable death cry.

In this world "Do as thou wilt shall be the whole of the law" is the mantra on the highway to hell. Do what feels good. Do what is right in your own eyes. Follow your own heart. Believe in yourself. It's just human pride. Pride is sin! The WAGES of SIN is DEATH. Staying lost in sin and then dying in sin...This is the way to hell. REJECT the Lord Jesus, the One and Only Saviour, and one is on the way to hell. NEGLECT the Lord Jesus, the One and Only Saviour, and one is on the way to hell. Cast His word aside as foolishness, and one is on the way to hell. Honor God with the lips, keeping the heart far from Him, and one is on the way to hell. Keep the focus on self, on vain religion and vain works, whether unfruitful works of darkness or seemingly good religious works, and one is on the way to a literal place the Lord Jesus calls hell. All of our thoughts, our words, our cries, and our works to save ourselves are burnt up and mean nothing...SALVATION is of the Lord.

Jesus says:

"And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do. But I will forewarn you whom ye shall fear: Fear him, which after he hath killed hath power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him."  - Luke 12:4-5 KJV.

Fear the living God. He alone has the power to both kill the body and cast one alive into hell. Jesus again says..."And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." - Matthew 10:28 KJV. The Lord Jesus is not speaking vain words. He is not playing games. The Lord Jesus warns men of the very real dangers of hell. It is an even more fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God. The wrath of God is real. The term HELL FIRE comes from the very lips of the Lord Jesus Himself. Men are sinners and are on the way to hell and need SALVATION. They need a SAVIOUR.

"The fear of the LORD is a fountain of life, to depart from the snares of death."  - Proverbs 14:27 KJV.

"The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath."  - Proverbs 15:24 KJV.

If hell is not horrific enough, there is something coming in the future even worse than hell.

"And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." - Revelation 20:12-15 KJV.

Souls in hell will rise to judgment. DEATH and HELL will be cast into the lake of fire. UNSAVED souls not found written in the book of life will also be cast into the lake of fire. The most important question in life is ARE YOU SAVED? Are you prepared to meet the living God?

Going to church cannot save a man. Vain religion cannot save a man. Doing good deeds cannot save a man. No man can save the soul of another man. Man cannot save himself, nor keep his own soul alive. God is able to destroy both BODY and SOUL in hell! FEAR GOD! God commands all men to repent and believe the Gospel of His dear Son, Christ Jesus the Lord. He alone can SAVE. He is THE WAY OF LIFE. This is the will of God, to save sinners on their way to hell and the lake of fire. God is not willing that we perish in our sins. It is GOD that is fore-warning men of hell! It is the Lord forewarning men of God's wrath. The gift of God is eternal life through the Lord Jesus Christ. Are you saved by the One and Only SAVIOUR? Or, are you on the way to hell and the lake of fire? Repent, and believe the Gospel. Hearken unto the word of God. Flee the wrath of God. Flee to the Lord Jesus! He alone is the way to heaven. All other ways are the way to hell.
