FIRE! FIRE!

"For our God is a consuming fire." - Hebrews 12:29 AKJB.

Fire alarms can save lives. They are a simple device that detects either smoke or flame, and then sounds a piercing alarm to wake and warn of danger. Souls can then flee to safety and be saved from the fire.

Like a coastal town or village, when there is a large earthquake, and a threat of a tsunami. An alarm sounds warning of the danger, again waking and warning souls to flee to higher ground.

Most are thankful that these alarms are in place.

The Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ is also an alarm.
The Gospel is good news for those that hear and believe...
But the Gospel is also a WARNING of a coming fire.

Israel is warned in Deuteronomy 4:42 AKJB - "For the LORD thy God is a consuming fire, even a jealous God."

This means that God will not tolerate idolatry, sin, and the rejection of His word. He will indeed judge these things, and His wrath is upon the fearful and unbelieving.

The Hebrews, and all of us, are reminded of this fact in the New Testament in the book of Hebrews.
Yeah, God is a consuming FIRE.

The Lord Jesus is set to return soon...

"In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power." - 2 Thessalonians 1:8-9 AKJB.

Those that spurn the gift of God's salvation have incurred His wrath. They that do not obey His Gospel are headed for the fire of God's judgement.

A voice from the past...

"When a house is on fire, what ought to be done first? We ought to give the alarm and wake the inhabitants. This is true love to our neighbor. This is true charity. Reader, I love your soul, and want it to be saved. I am therefore going to tell you something about hell. There is such a place as hell. Let no one deceive you with vain words. What men do not like, they try hard not to believe. When the Lord Jesus Christ comes to judge the world, He will punish all who are not his disciples with a fearful punishment. All who are found impenitent and unbelieving; all who have clung to sin, stuck to the world, and set their affections on things below; all who are without Christ; all such shall come to an awful end. Whosoever is not written in the book of life shall be "cast into the lake of fire." Rev 20:15." - J.C. Ryle.

THE ALARM IS SOUNDING! Without the Lord Jesus Christ as SAVIOUR, your house is on fire! The flames are climbing higher, and I for one cannot stand idle by the wayside to watch as you perish. The wrath and judgment of God is surely coming to a wicked, unbelieving world. And...If you die lost, without the Son as your one and only Saviour, you will go to a place called hell. It is for real by the very word of God.

I am telling you to flee for your life! Flee sin. Flee wickedness. Flee false teachers who care nothing for your soul. They are many. Flee to Christ Jesus the Lord. Run for your life!

FIRE! FIRE!

God offers His salvation full and free through His Son, Christ Jesus the Lord. He died for our sins, He was buried. He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. How shall we escape if we reject or neglect so great a salvation? "Escape what?" many ask. Saved from what? From facing the wrath of God! From being cast into hell! From being cast into the lake of fire for all of eternity! We have all sinned against the Lord of heaven and earth. We are all sinners bound for hell. Christ came to save sinners! Repent! is the cry of the hour.

True love WARNS. True love calls out FIRE! FIRE!

There is that other side of this great news, if we reject His Son, if we neglect His Son, we perish in the fire. We will not be saved. We die lost in our sins. We will not go to heaven, but to the darkness and torments of hell. Hell is not a mythical place. Hell is not a party place. It's a real place of weeping and gnashing of teeth. The very words "HELL FIRE" come from the mouth of the Lord Jesus Himself. (Mark 9:47 KJB; Matthew 18:9 KJB).
Our minds cannot comprehend the torment and horror of hell. It gets even worse! There is a FATE WORSE THAN HELL. There is another place the Bible calls the lake of fire. Hell and all of those in hell will be judged and then cast into the lake of fire for ever and ever.

"And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire." - Revelation 20:15 AKJB.

FIRE! FIRE!

Let these words come into your house and rescue your living soul from an awful end. Without the Saviour your house is on fire. The ALARM IS SOUNDING STILL. This is not a THREAT...

It is a WARNING.

IN HELL

The Lord Jesus speaking...
"There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
And IN HELL he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead." - Luke 16:19-31 KJB.
Two men. Two certain men. One with all the health, wealth, and prosperity this life can offer. The other, filled with infirmity, poor, and needy. Both died.
Let's note some of the details of what Jesus says plainly about the rich man...
The rich man lifted up his eyes in hell after his death.
Hell is real, hell is literal, all on the final authority of the very word of the Lord Jesus. The rich man can see, so his eyes still function beyond the grave in hell.
He is in torments, in a torment of flame, with no water to cool his burning, dry, thirsty tongue. Another one of his senses that remain in tact.
He cried in hell, so he still can both speak and cry out.
He can remember in hell...remembering the good things he had in his life. Those things are all gone forever, and now he is tormented.
There is a great gulf fixed between him, who is in hell, and the poor man who is in Abraham's bosom, a place of safety and comfort. An impassable gulf.
All of his cries and requests in hell are denied.
He asks that Abraham send Lazarus to his five brethren, who are lost, without hope, without God, and are headed for that same place of torment in hell.
Again, request denied. He has full knowledge of his loved ones back living in the world, and their lost estate. In hell, he prays for them to no avail.
He cannot go to them himself, O that impassable gulf is fixed! His lost estate is final!
They have the written Scriptures, but if they hear them not, neither will they repent or be persuaded even if Lazarus went back to them from the dead.
And today many do not hear, wilfully neglect to hear, the written word of God, even the words of the Lord Jesus. Many reject that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. They are still not persuaded...even though One rose from the dead. Yet, they still do not repent.
This is no parable, this is a certain warning from the Lord Jesus Himself. There is a hell, and it is not a party place to gather with your friends and family to live it up. It is a place of torment, a place of weeping, and gnashing of teeth. The warning is this...
Repent and believe the Gospel of Christ Jesus the Lord. If one refuses Him and His Gospel, repents not, and believes not, they will surely die, be buried, and then open their eyes...
In hell.
And sadly, their loved ones may follow after them.
"Lest they also come into this place of torment" cried the rich man in hell!
This might be the final warning. Are you saved?
Are your loved ones saved?

Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house...

THE COMING DELUSION

"I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.”
- Isaiah 66:4 KJB.
God called Israel to repentance, to turn from their wicked ways, and offered them mercy and forgiveness of their sins...but sadly "none did answer" His call. When the Lord spake, they "did not hear". They did evil before the eyes of the Lord, and chose that in which the Lord delighted not. They chose their own sinful ways, and spurned the fear of the Lord and departure from evil.
So, the Lord pronounced a most profound and righteous judgement against them...because "Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations." - Isaiah 66:3b KJB. The Lord would "choose their delusions", and "bring their fears upon them."
Look in the first Proverb...
"Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you.
Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;
But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:
I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;
When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you."
- Proverbs 1:23-27 KJB.
Sinners who refuse to hear the call of the Lord to repentance, that refuse His reproof, nor regard His word...set themselves up for great delusion, and listen carefully...a bringing of their own fears upon their own heads. Yeah, fears, calamity, desolation, destruction, distress, and anguish is coming to the unrepentant sinner.
Such is the plight of those that reject or neglect the pure Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ. The judgement and wrath of God abideth upon them (John 3:36). God will choose their delusions, and bring their fears upon them.
Surely their are many delusions in the here and now. These delusions...like false prophets, false teachers, false Christs, new age movements, media propaganda, etc. are God's judgment against those that love not the truth according to the word of the Lord. But there is a coming delusion the world is being prepared for, that it seems ready for in these last days.
The coming Antichrist himself. Yeah, the Wicked one...who will declare himself as "God".
"Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish..."
- 2 Thess. 2:9-10a KJB.
Signs. Lying wonders. Deceptions. Unrighteousness. A delusion on all that perish. And why?
And 2 Thess. 2:10b-12 KJB - " ...they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. For this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.”
It is the true and living God that has chosen these delusions for all that "received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved." The Lord called, but they did not answer. When He spake, they did not hear. They continued to do evil before the eyes of the Lord with no repentance or change. They chose that which the Lord did not delight in...they loved the world and the things of this world. They would have none of God's reproof, and neither regarded His stretched out hand of salvation.
It is the true and living God that will send this STRONG delusion.
Are you prepared for the coming delusion? Or are you caught up in the current delusions, having set aside the word of God, rejecting the Gospel of Christ Jesus the Lord?
Only the Lord can make known His words unto us, and pour out His Spirit of truth upon us.
Are we walking in the Spirit of truth, or in the delusional spirit of error? If a soul has not received the love of the truth from the Lord, they are in delusion now and are ready for the coming delusion.
DELUSION, 1. The act of deluding; deception; a misleading of the mind. 2. False representation; illusion; error or mistake proceeding from false views. (Webster's 1828 Dictionary).
Modern Christendom with it's false representation of Christ is in every sense a DELUSION. Christendom with it's spirit of error and apostasy, it's many false views, it's worldly admixtures, and it's departure from the word of the Lord is DELUSION. The deluded souls that follow Christendom are ripe and ready for the coming storm of STRONG DELUSION. All that rejects Christ, all that neglects Christ, all that misrepresents Christ, all that opposes Christ, all that perverts the Gospel of Christ, and all that feigns to come in the name of Christ...is ripening and readying the souls of men for the coming STRONG DELUSION.
The Lord calls to the souls of men this day...
"Turn ye at My reproof…”.
Repent ye and believe the true Gospel.

A DESERT PLACE

A DESERT PLACE
Jesus took his disciples to a private, quiet place...
"And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.
And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran afoot thither out of all cities, and outwent them, and came together unto him.
And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things."
- Mark 6:32-34 KJB.
A desert place...the people came unto the Lord Jesus...Jesus saw them, and was "moved with compassion towards them" as they were "as sheep not having a shepherd". It was there in that desert place that "He began to teach them many things".
These people came out of the cities, out of the towns, out of the villages, out of the religion and religious centers of their day, and came directly to the Lord Jesus in a desert place. Moved with compassion towards them, the Lord began to teach them Himself.
Many do not realize that nothing has changed. Many have to flee modern Christianity and all of the trappings of Christendom, and other religions in order to truly come unto the Lord and truly be saved, and to be taught by Him. So souls can still come unto Him, and find the rest they need.

The SAVIOUR

"I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no SAVIOUR."
- Isaiah 43:11 KJB

"Tell ye, and bring them near; yea, let them take counsel together: who hath declared this from ancient time? who hath told it from that time? have not I the LORD? and there is no God else beside me; a just God and a SAVIOUR; there is none beside me. Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else."
- Isaiah 45:21-22 KJB

"For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the SAVIOUR, the Lord Jesus Christ:"
- Philippians 3:20 KJB

"But is now made manifest by the appearing of our SAVIOUR Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:"
- 2 Timothy 1:10 KJB

"And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the SAVIOUR of the world."
- 1 John 1:14 KJB

To many God is an unknown God. But God has made Himself known through the person of the Lord Jesus Christ.

"And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory."
- 1 Timothy 3:16 KJB

Jesus is none other than God manifest in the flesh, who came into the world to save. There is only one true and living God, and He is both LORD and SAVIOUR in both the Old Testament and in the New Testament. Beside Him there is no SAVIOUR.
God alone saves, and He preserves. And this God came into this world in the person of the Lord Jesus Christ as REDEEMER. He is the LAMB of GOD which taketh away the sin of the world. Christ Jesus the Lord is the very WAY of SALVATION. He alone has the very distinct title of SAVIOUR. He alone is the SAVIOUR of men, the SAVIOUR of the world.
Christ Jesus has abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through His gospel. Only in Him is there EVERLASTING LIFE. Of we men most miserable, we only have hope in the SAVIOUR. All other gods are false, there is no other LORD, GOD, or SAVIOUR beside Him.

No longer the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger, He grew to be a man. He spoke words that were spirit and life. He forgave sins, and healed the sick, and called sinners to repentance. He had mercy upon sinners and saved poor sinners. He went to the cross and there He died for our sins. He was buried. And the third day He arose from the death of the grave. Behold, the SAVIOUR! He ascended up into heaven, and He will return in like manner.
From whence we look for the SAVIOUR, the Lord Jesus Christ.

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men, Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world; Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our SAVIOUR Jesus Christ;"
- Titus 2:11-13 KJB

Do you have Him as your BLESSED HOPE?
Have you come to the SAVIOUR in repentance and faith?
Have you been saved by this SAVIOUR?
Nothing in this world is worth losing your own soul for...NOTHING.
Look unto the SAVIOUR, and be ye saved, for there is no other SAVIOUR whereby we MUST be saved. NOW is the day of His salvation.
NOW is the day to call on His name, and to be saved.
He still saves poor sinners...poor sinners like you, like me.

Amen.

THE APPOINTMENT

We have all heard the sad news of the death of a friend, a family member, a loved one, and even a foe. Some of us have watched as they ebbed or slipped away. At times it is sudden and unexpected. Yet, one day others will hear of our own death as well. Death comes to ALL.
Hebrews 9:27 KJB - "And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:"
We all have an appointment.
An appointment that is "Fixed; Set; Established; Decreed; Ordained; Constituted; Allotted," by the hand of God Himself.
It is an appointment that comes to all men. A final breath.
A final heartbeat. Once to die, and then the judgment.
No man has cheated death. No man has escaped death.
No man has dodged this appointment, nor ever will in his own strength or by his own will. The wages of sin is death.
We have ALL sinned against the God of heaven.
Death is a great reality.
What will you do to prepare for this appointment?
The appointment is FIXED, and no one man can move it.
It is SET, and no man can alter it. It is ESTABLISHED, and no man can change it. It is DECREED by the word of God, and no man can nullify it by his own words. It is ALLOTTED, and no man can take the cup away. What will we do?
The Psalmist cries...
Psalm 79:9,11 KJB - "Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for thy name's sake...
Let the sighing of the prisoner come before thee; according to the greatness of thy power preserve thou those that are APPOINTED TO DIE;"
There is HELP!
Again in Psalm 102:19-20 KJB -"For he hath looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to LOOSE those that are APPOINTED TO DEATH,"
God has made a WAY for those appointed to death to be HELPED, DELIVERED, PRESERVED and LOOSED from the bonds of death. The true and living God is the God of salvation not only to Israel, but to all that call upon Him in truth. He heard our sighings, He heard our groanings, and He sent His only begotten Son...
Christ Jesus the Lord, the SAVIOUR.
He died for our sins, purging our sin with His own blood. He sacrificed Himself once and for all.
Yeah, in Hebrews 9:28 KJB -"So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation."
The Lord Jesus took that appointment on our behalf. If we will but believe in God and trust in His great salvation, He will be our HELP, He will PRESERVE and KEEP, He will DELIVER, and LOOSE us from the bonds of DEATH. Yeah, He will APPOINT to SALVATION, even saving us from the APPOINTMENT to His wrath.
Once a soul is appointed to His great salvation, it too is FIXED, SET, ESTABLISHED, DECREED, ORDAINED, ALLOTTED by His own hand. It CANNOT be moved. The word of God is firm and it is true.
Once we are saved we wait for the Son from heaven, who was resurrected from the bond of death, and ascended on High. He will return in like manner of His ascension, appearing unto salvation. This is GOOD NEWS.
1 Thess. 5:9 KJB - "For God hath not APPOINTED us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,"
The saved are those that have called upon the Lord, acknowledging their sin before Him, with repentance toward God and true faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.
For the souls that reject Him, or neglect His so great salvation. there is NO ESCAPE from the appointment with both death and judgment. The word of God says clearly that such souls are appointed to God's wrath. This too is fixed, set, established by the hand of God Himself. Yeah, it is APPOINTED unto men once to die, and after this the judgment.
Repent ye and believe the Gospel.

For God So Loved

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.
For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.
But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God." - John 3:16 -21 KJB.
The GREATEST GIFT...
A gift that cannot be bought, earned, won by good merits, or schemed for in any way. A gift given by the living God who cannot lie, with boundless mercy, compassion, and unfailing love. This gift is a FREE GIFT to sinners (Romans 5:15-18).
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." - Ephesians 2:8-9 KJB.
Sinners "should not perish", for God has made a way of salvation. If only they will repent towards God, and believe on His only begotten Son. If they will but receive God's free GIFT.
God offers EVERLASTING LIFE, and SALVATION full and free.
Yet many try to be saved by their own good works, and many will not come to the light of God's word, hating the reproof of God for their sin and error. Yet God's love is towards them when there is reproof...
"In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him." - 1 John 4:9 KJB.
God's will is that we DO NOT PERISH, but that we might live, and have ETERNAL LIFE through His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” - Romans 6:23 KJB.
God's free gift is offered to ALL that are due the wages of sin, which is DEATH, eternal death at that.
Yeah, for God so loved...
But there is also a warning for those that will not receive His free gift, who REJECT the gift, and who NEGLECT the gift...
There are everlasting consequences.
"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him." - John 3:36 KJB.
Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and thou shalt be saved to the uttermost. Forgiveness of all sin and everlasting life.
No condemnation for ALL those that believe on Him.
Believe not and thou shalt face the wrath of God to the uttermost, and shall PERISH and be damned for all of eternity. Eternal condemnation for ALL that believe NOT on Him.
Those who have not believed are CONDEMNED ALREADY.
God sent not His Son to condemn, but that we MIGHT BE SAVED. For God so loved us He sent the SAVIOUR.
Call on the SAVIOUR while it is called TODAY.
Repent ye and believe the Gospel.
I compel souls to take the free gift.
